Joyce Kovalcik Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Kovalcik of Gorham, Maine, born in Hawkshaw, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 13, 2020 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce Kovalcik to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hector Morrison and Beulah Morrison (Elliott) of Millinocket, Maine.; her husband John Kovalcik; her sisters, Jean DeVoe and Ruth; her brother-in-law Paul Gonya; and her brothers, Lewis (Patricia Morrison), Robert (Ellen Morrison) and Hector Morrison.
She is survived by: her brothers, Harry Morrison (Tina) of Millinocket, Franklin Morrison (Joyce) of The Villages and Gary Morrison (Billee) of Bangor; and her friends, Sandy, Jim Osterrieder, Mimsi and Dick Harter of Steep Falls. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
She looked out for her friends and neighbors on Lincoln at Gorham House, and lately, when they have been unable to leave their residence due to COVID, she started treating the Lincoln residents to an occasional lunch of Italians.
