He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Henry Hunt and Doris S. Meserve Jr. (Silver). He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Meserve (Basford); his sons, Edwin P. Meserve (Melissa), Jonathan A. Meserve (Libby) and Charles T. Meserve (Ashley Dougherty); and his siblings, Linda Thompson of Westbrook, Gary Meserve of Buxton, Joyce Demo of Florida and Kim Bryant of Portland. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
