She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Farwell and Leigh Farwell (Wood); her husband Walter Young of Westbrook; her daughter Mary Ellen Black; and her siblings, Nancy Snow and Peter Farwell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally (Philip Steinhagen) and Jean (Donald Libby); her granddaughters, Nicole Steinhagen of Waterboro, Samantha Libby of Austin, TX and Abbey Steinhagen of South Portland; and her sister Patricia (Bill) of Texas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
