He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Colson and Erdie Colson (Allen); his brothers, Robert and Arthur Colson; his wife Nancy Dow Colson; his son Earl Timothy Colson of Costa Rica, CSM; and his sisters, Alice Frasier, Ruth Robinson and Vivian Balogh. He was also cherished by 24 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
