She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Lutz and Doris Lutz; her husband Gerard Van Betuw; and her siblings, Joanne Sparling, Margaret Shubert, Roland Lutz, Harvey Lutz, Marvin Lutz and Harold Lutz.
She is survived by: her children, Betsy Van Betuw of Portland, Wendy Van Betuw of Limington, Erik Van Betuw (Justine) of Redmond, Washington and Barry Kyrklund (Jan) of Flowery Branch, Georgia; her brother Robert Lutz of Tampa, Florida; and her grandchildren, Kendra (Nate), Westley (Samantha), Joseph, Carly (Nick), Kathryn and Casey. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service (498 Long Plains Rd, Buxton, ME 04093). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Buxton United Methodist Church (276 Chicopee Rd, Buxton, ME 04093).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Buxton Community Food Cupboard or Buxton United Methodist Church.
