With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Welsch Sr. (Gorham, Maine), born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on August 14, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Welsch and Delphine Welsch (Freeman); and his siblings, Philip Jr., Earnest Welsch and Patricia "Lawler" Welsch.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor M Lawler of Gorham; and his children, Teresa (Clayton Smelcer), Donald Jr. of Gorham, Lisa (Barry King), Joseph (Marcie Welsch) and Ann Marie Smith of Gorham. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
