It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara McGarvey in Gorham, Maine, born in Saint George, Maine, who passed away on September 10, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rein and Frances Rein (Wasgatt); her husband J. Barry McGarvey; her sister Marilyn; her son Brian Peter; and her brother Jack Rein.

She is survived by: her children, Kelly Rowell (Warren), James (Laura), Terry Lynn, Shawn, Jon (Laura), Kathleen, Michael, Colleen, Richard (Sandra), Tara Sommers (Weston) and Timothy; her sister Patricia Brandt; and her brother-in-law Richard McGarvey. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
