He is survived by: his parents, Jerome D. Lafer and Catherine M. C. Lafer (LePen) of Newton, MA; his wife Rachel A. Monbouquette; his children, Isabella Monbouquette, Sebastian Lafer, Ronan Lafer and Ivan Lafer; and his siblings, Alexander Lafer (Denise) of Milford, MA and Emmanuelle Skala (Erik) of Needham, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
