She is survived by: her husband Michael Rubin (Mike); her children, Nicole Rubin and Nathan Rubin (Nate); and her pet Luna.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dot's name to the American Breast Cancer Foundation or the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA).
