He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Hathaway and Josephine Hathaway (Brown); his brothers, John, Richard, Donald, David, Irvan and Dewey; and his great grandchild Paitn Marie Verrill.
He is survived by: his son Scott Hathaway (Teresa McKay Hathaway) of Gardiner; his granddaughter Ashley Hathaway (Mark McLain); his great grandchild Nyelle Hathaway of Augusta; his siblings, Paul Hathaway (Terry Hathaway) of Gardiner, Mary-Jane Cone of Georgia and Sharon Brown (Wallace Brown) of Gardiner; and his nephew Lincoln Hamel of South China. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
