He was predeceased by: his parents, Prince Stevens and Elsie Stevens (Blake); his siblings, Elaine, Betty and Hartley; and his grandsons, Cameron Stevens and Jason Spaulding.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Joan Stevens (D. C.); his siblings, Gloria Staples and Roger Stevens; his children, Vyrl Romanella, Eric (Diane Stevens), Beth (Timothy Goodwin), Alec (Terry Stevens) and John (Rosamond Stevens); his grandchildren, Tricia Dickey, Ethan Stevens (Amanda), Ivan Stevens (Amy), Crystal Sweeney (Ben), Blake Goodwin (Stephanie), Ford Stevens, Lydia Stevens, Nicole Gruszewski (Jeremy), Jared Stevens (Miranda), Laura Mistarz (Danny), Ben Goodwin, Karita Parlett (Micah) and Austin Stevens; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Kody, Erica, Peyton, Scott, Brandon, Andrew, Isaac, Emerson, Avery, Liam, Alba, Elia, Lillian, Sadie, Elliot and Emmanuel.
