She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nelson and Irma Nelson (Hewey); her husband Ralph; and her siblings, Virginia Nelson, Barbara Cunningham, Harriet Werber, George Nelson and Donald Nelson.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Holt (Karen) and Matthew Holt; and her siblings, Vaughn Wentworth (Georganne) of Skowhegan, Roger Wentworth (Verna) of Sebring, John Nelson (Edith) of Enterprise, Mary Lemieux (Earl) of Whitefield, Dorothy MacMaster (Al) of South Gardiner and Sandra Bumpus (Frank) of Belgrade. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
