With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Hunter (Gardiner, Maine), who passed away on April 28, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Matthew Hunter and Emily Hunter (Cottrell); his wife Elsie Wellman of Washington; his daughters, Diane Citron (Carl) of Medway, Janice Hunter of Worcester and Cheryl Hunter of Oakland, Maine.; and his grandchildren, Jacob Citron (Brittany Hinojosa Citron) of San Antonio and Kasey Citron of Minneapolis. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Goodwill Industries of Northern New England, 34 Hutcherson Drive, Gotham, Maine 04038, to the attention of Monique Cornett.
