He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Loring Russell and Anna Giroux Smith; his wife Barbara Collins; his siblings, Mary Eugley, Doreen Austin, Eula Patterson, Margaret Shea, Pearl Tregembo, Ola Anthony, Nancy York, Richard, John and Tom Smith; and his children, Joyce Farren (Roger), Carol Rogers, Bob (Mary Lou Miller), Steve (Amy) and Larry (Linda). He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
