He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonard Alexander and Barbara Alexander. He is survived by : his siblings, Betty Bailey of Litchfield and Edward Alexander (Cathy) of Damariscotta; and his nieces and nephews, Douglas Bailey, Dr. Susan Bailey, Thomas Alexander (Chelsea) and Lauren Brown (Cody). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the kitchen renovation at First Baptist Church (47 Church Street, Gardiner, ME 04345).
