She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Murphy and Annie Wright Murphy; her husband Clifton Fossett of Randolph, Maine.; her stepmother Beverly Ellis Murphy; her daughter Lois Fossett Kittredge; her siblings, Christina Howard, Beulah Doyle and Leroy Murphy; her half-brother James Murphy; her son-in-law Dennis Towle; and her nephews, Linwood Frasier and Lee Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughter Joan Towle; her stepsons, David and Gary Moody (Kim); her half-brother John Murphy; her friend Mary Kittredge; and her grandson Gary Towle. She is also survived by 2 great grandsons and 5 great granddaughters; and 6 great-great grandsons.
