He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Jefferson Hynson and Mary Louise Hynson (Ruff); his wife Susan Hynson (Gerrish); and his grandparents, Sula Desolee (Yeatman) and Wilbur Frank Hynson.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Susanne Chandler (George Crumley) and Peter Chandler (Kirk Webber); his granddaughters, Margaret Annie Dumke of California and Amy Landry of Auburn; and his cousins, Mary Frances Butler and Herbert Hynson Jr. of Foneswood, VA..
