She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Perry and Ethel Perry (Skillings); and her sons, Robert Thornton Jr, Ronnie Thornton and Michael Thornton.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Thornton of Gardiner; her granddaughter Tracey Thornton of Gardiner; and her great grandchildren, Drew Peaslee, Cameron Peaslee, Brady Peaslee and Adele Maschino of Gardiner.
