It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Franklin Bowie (Gardiner, Maine), who passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, William Bowie and Thelma Bowie (Bradstreet); his children, Christopher John Bowie and Ceclia Bowie; and his brother Leon Bowie.
He is survived by : his wife Sandy Bowie; his children, Edward Bowie (Debra) and Tammy Combs (David); his grandchildren, Katherine Bowie (Robert Elmer Morin III), Abigail Bowie, Nicholas Bowie, Matthew Combs and Justin Combs; his great grandchild Robert Elmer Morin IV "Maverick"; and his siblings, William Bowie (Sue) and Carol Jean Gordon.
