He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gordon Lawrence and Louise Speder Lawrence; his wife Barbara Black; his sister Lorraine Lawrence Bailey; his son-in-law Robert Redick; his children, Judy Lawrence Redick of Pennsylvania and Gregory Gordon Lawrence (Virginia) of North Carolina; and his grandchildren, Christie Lawrence, Sarah, Nathan and Elizabeth Redick.
