He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Melrose and Carrie Melrose (Harriman); and his brother Joseph McFarland. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher McFarland (Kim) and Thomas McFarland (Tanja); his grandchildren, Jordan DeVito (Derek DeVito), Emma McFarland, Tristen McFarland Aliyah Ferren and Alaina Ferren; his great grandchildren, Sadie and Peyton; his sister Sheryl Blumerth; and his son Doriann Robinson. He is also survived by many other extended family and close friends.
