In loving memory of James W. Meckes of Fryeburg, Maine, who departed this world on November 2, 2024 at the age of 86. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ruby Meckes and Catherine Thomas; and his siblings, Val, Dick and Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Marjorie Williams (Mike) and James Meckes (Kelley); and his grandchildren, Courtney Dobart (Joshua), Amanda Jarvis (Edward), James Meckes (Dessirea) and Nicole Willis (Garrett). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
