She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Cole and Lawrence Cole. She is survived by: her husband Lieutenant John H. Atwood; and her children, Nancy (Kurt Mockler), John L. Atwood (Elly) and Peter Atwood (Jennifer). She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
