With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Germaine Tardif (Frenchville, Maine), born in Grand Isle, Maine, who passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fortunat Lavoie and Phoebe Thibeault; her husband Valere; and her siblings, Irene Tardif, Leo, Roger and Roland Lavoie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda (Tim Biggins) of Damascus, Maryland, Linda (Bill Doyle) of Sioux Falls and Eileen (Tom Michaud) of Madawaska, Maine.; her grandchildren, Craig Slota (Anne) of Paris, France, Kirk Slota (Anya) of Seattle, Washington, Stacey Redman, Ira of Washington, D. C., Daniel Michaud, Kiyoko Shipman of Rockmart, Georgia and Anthony Michaud (Melissa) of Clinton, Maine.; her great grandchildren, Claire, Elise, Bronson, Alexander, Chloe, Emma, Andrew and Anna; and her siblings, Walter Lavoie, Adrian Lavoie, Elsie Raymond, Yvette Lizotte, Patsy Dionne and Linda Mercure. She is also survived by her sisters, brothers and friends.
