It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan B. Archer of Franklin, Maine, born in Ellsworth, Maine, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bradbury and Mertie Bradbury (Wilbur); her husband Lyman W. Archer; her brother Mahlon Bradbury; and her half-brothers, Charles and Richard Bradbury.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Archer (Polly) and Amy Morse (Eric); her grandchildren, Eric Archer (Sierra), Sean Archer, William Morse and Ella Morse; her sisters, Elizabeth Wagner, Norma Albee and Judith Hooper; and her half-sister Patricia Pillsbury.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joan's memory may be made to the Franklin Library, PO Box 202, Franklin, Maine 04634 Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, Ellsworth, where online condolences may be shared with the family.
