He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ora Clinton and Beulah Burnett Johnson; his siblings, Verdell and Ruth; his wife Yvonne Helen Bent; his children, R. Matthew Johnson (Jennifer), Christopher Johnson (Tia), Curtis Johnson (Christina), Laura Johnson Riopel (Jonathon Riopel) and Linda Johnson Norris (Allan); his grandchildren, Ashley and Kimberly Norris; his daughters, Grace, Samantha Johnson and Lauren Bragan; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Anna, Elle, R. Owen, Ryan, Maxwell Johnson, James and Isabella Riopel; and his son Dr. Richard P. Johnson.
Due to the current pandemic environment, a memorial service will be held at a later time.
