It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Julian Charette (Fort Kent, Maine), born in Eagle Lake, Maine, who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Baptist and Delima Charette (Russell); his former wife Rita Charette (Caron); and his daughter Carole Trosky (George). He is survived by: his children, James Charette (Tammy) of Connecticut, Arlene Johns (Kent) of Florida, Robert Charette (Laura) of Florida, Robin Budzinovski (Richard) of Connecticut and Lisa Hebert (Maurice) of Fort Kent; his stepchildren, Karen of Frenchville, Glen of Frenchville and Sandy of Frenchville; and his brother John Charette (Rose) of Van Buren. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
