He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Desjardins and Georgianna Desjardins (Bouchard); his daughter Tina Marie Desjardins; his grandchild Lauren Eva Soucy; and his siblings, Betty Bernier, Wallace Desjardins, Thomas Desjardins and Wanna Sioch.
He is survived by: his wife Doretta Desjardins (Plourde) of Fort Kent; his children, Lisa Rutt (Norman) of East Waterboro, Linda Soucy (Dale) of Fort Kent, Thomas Desjardins (Anni) of Woodland, Donna Desjardins (Kim) of Dresdon and Timothy Desjardins (Roxanne) of Fort Kent; and his siblings, Robert Desjardins (Betty Jane) of Fort Kent, Herbert Desjardins (Ghislaine) of Fort Kent and Christy Plourde of Fort Kent. He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren.
