She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodule Voisine and Phoebe Voisine (Pelletier); her husband Norman Sylvain; and her daughters, Lisa Shaw and Mary Helen Cyr.
She is survived by: her children, Denis Sylvain (Barbara) of Frenchville, Philip Sylvain of Fort Kent, Roger Sylvain (Annette) of North Carolina, Norma Cyr of Fort Kent, Patricia Gregoire of Augusta, Diana Sylvain of Fort Kent and Michael Sylvain (Michelle) of Fort Kent; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Cassandra, Michelle, Thomas, Melissa, Lisa, Krystal, Jamie, Randy and Travis; her sister Mildred Walker Baker of Greenbush; and her sister-in-law Joan Sylvain of Fort Kent. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
