He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Blier and Mable Blier (Bourgoin); his wife Marilyn Blier (Sirois); his son Dale Blier; and his brother Rene Blier.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Matteau, Gilman Blier and David Blier; and his siblings, Mamie Ouellette, Sadie Boucher, Gertrude Boucher, Alberta Boucher, Clarence and Garland Blier. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Due to the current pandemic a private graveside will be held by the family.
