He was predeceased by: his parents, Acil York and Essie York (Sturgeon); his daughter Sherry York; his brother Acil 'Manny York; his grandson Wesley York; his great grandchild Dayna Dixon; his siblings, Roger, Floyd, Dana, Warren, Acil "Manny" York, Irene LaPointe and Leona Smith; and his daughter-in-law Linda York.
He is survived by: his wife Linda J. York (Bird) of Fort Fairfield; his children, Mark N. York of Fort Fairfield, Dana D. York (Amanda) of Fort Fairfield, Blake York of Fort Fairfield, Kathy M. York of Presque Isle and Cheryl A. York of Presque Isle; his siblings, Betty Steeves of New Brunswick, David (Linda York), Vaughn York of Mapleton, Bunkie (Sue York) and Rodney (Patty York); and his nephew Christopher Fuller of Fort Fairfield.
