He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Leona Dorsey (Pickard); his wife Patricia A. Quigley; his son Richard P. Dorsey; and his siblings, Clayton, Clarence, Hubert, Winston, Newman "Buddy" Dorsey, Gladys Peterson Daigle and Elizabeth Dorsey.
He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Jo; his son-in-law Lesley Birmingham of Brunswick; his son Robert D.; his daughter-in-law Ellen Dorsey of Aiken, SC; his granddaughter Erica Dorsey of Boston; his great grandchild Sasha Kilroy of Wyoming; and his siblings-in-law, Don Quigley (Linda) of San Francisco, CA, Joy Quigley of Cape Canaveral, FL and Mary Dorsey of Westbrook, Maine.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
