He is survived by: his parents, Rosaire Jr. Theriault and Anne Theriault (Ashby) of Fort Fairfield; his brother Timothy; his sister-in-law Tanya Theriault of Scarborough; his grandmother Winnifred "Winnie" Theriault of Presque Isle; his niece Amber Bourgeault (Jessie) of New Vineyard; and his nephew Isaac Theriault of Scarborough. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles; several great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Troy to the charity or organization of one's choice.
