He was predeceased by: his former wife Melody Sturgeon (Churchill); and his sisters, Shirley Tardy, Mae Lawrence, Doreen MacDougal and Pauline MacDougal.
He is survived by: his children, Benjamin Sturgeon of Fort Fairfield and Linda Sturgeon (James St); his granddaughter Olivia Jamieson of Limestone; his sister Arlene MacDougal of Fort Fairfield; and his close friend Wade Butler of Fort Fairfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
