He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bubar and Evelyn Bubar (White); his wife Helen Bubar (Gillespie); and his siblings, Robert, Donald Jr., Wayne Bubar, Linda Hickox, Norma VanBuskirk, Sarah Farrell and Shirley Bishop.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Maynard (Todd) of Fort Fairfield and Georgette Bubar (D. J. Rand) of Houston, TX; his siblings, Gerald Bubar (Laverne) of Fort Fairfield and Susan Duran (Jim) of Portland; his grandchildren, Devin Ireland (Shyann Ballinger), Dr. Kendra Ireland of Philadelphia, PA, Teresa Ouellette (Derrick) of Caribou and Justin Maynard of Fort Fairfield; and his great grandchild Natalee Ouellette of Caribou. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service (144 Main St, Fort Fairfield, ME 04742). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dorsey Funeral Home (144 Main St, Fort Fairfield, ME 04742).
