She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Akerson and Christina Akerson (Dahlin); her husband Robert L. Foss Sr.; her sons, Philip Foss and Scott Foss; and her siblings, John, Malford, Chester Akerson, Martha Jones, Arlene Buck, Vivian Everitt and Enid Hughes.

She is survived by: her children, Maxine Hathaway (Roy) of Fort Fairfield, Valerie Clark (Terry Donovan) of Fort Fairfield, Lisa Foss of Cottage Grove, MN, Douglas Foss (Betty) of Blaine and Robert Foss Jr. of Easton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
