She was predeceased by: her parents, Loomis R. F. and Gertrude Osborne (McKenney); her husband Earle W. Johnston; her son-in-law Gregory Smith; and her siblings, Fredrick W. Osborne and Catherine Eisensmith (Ashby).
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie A. "Taffy" Smith of St. Augustine, FL; her grandchildren, Zachary Smith (Alisha) of Presque Isle and Kylan Joyce Smith of Charlotte, NC; her great grandchildren, Lydia Smith of Presque Isle, Camrynn Smith of Presque Isle and Gregory Herschel of Presque Isle; and her niece Anne Theriault (Rosaire Jr.) of Fort Fairfield.
