She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Doughty and Doris Doughty (Hansen); her children, Gary K. Owens and Catherine Faith Owens; her siblings, Linwood, Gary W., Darrell E. "Butch" Doughty and Patricia Mahn; and her great grandchild Landon L. Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Jonny E. Owens of Fort Fairfield and Cynthia E. Owens (Sam Murphy) of Presque Isle; her sisters, Virginia Cote of Fort Fairfield and Joanne Wilcox of Fort Fairfield; her grandchildren, Jeremy J. S. Owens (Kim Michaud) of Fort Fairfield and Jaime L. Owens (Sam Walker Sr.) of Clarksville, TN; and her caregivers, Heather P. Owens of Presque Isle, Melanie F. McLaughlin (Eric Harvey) of Mapleton, Caitlyn A. Owens of Lisbon Falls and Christopher Owens of Lisbon Falls. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; several niece and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service (144 Main St, Fort Fairfield, ME 04742).
