He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Sr. and Lenore; his daughter Laurie A. Johnston; his granddaughter Bobbi-Jo Johnston; his great grandchild Alana Avaleen Nelson; and his siblings, Herman, William, Linwood True, Sylvia True and Elizabeth Caldwell.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn True (Brooker) of Fort Fairfield; his niece Liesha Milliard (Charles "Chuck" Tucker II); his granddaughter Nicole Johnston of Perth-Andover; and his great grandchildren, Logan of Perth-Andover and Alyssa Johnston of Perth-Andover.
