He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Sr. Cyr and Nora Cyr (Duplessis); and his sons, Michael and David Cyr. He is survived by: his wife Lona Cyr of Fort Fairfield; his son Daniel; his daughter-in-law Sue Cyr of Presque Isle; his siblings, Richard Cyr (Roberta) of Presque Isle, Ivan Cyr Jr. of Presque Isle, Robertine (Steve Reed) and Brenda (Dave Hanson); his grandchildren, Kyle Cyr of Presque Isle, Lucas Cyr (Josh) of Washburn, Ryan Cyr of Sheridan and Erica Cyr of Caribou; his great grandchildren, David of Ashland and Eliza of Caribou; his close friends, Ron Doughty, Wayne Pendexter and Kendall Baily; his pet Smokey; and also, Lucas, Josh, Cathy, Kyle, Ivan and Donald. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
