Charles Murphy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Murphy (Fort Fairfield, Maine), born in Caribou, Maine, who passed away on August 5, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar "Bert" Murphy and Anna Marie Murphy (Chaput); his wife Lois Murphy (Waldren); his daughter Jennifer Murphy; his stepson Charles J. "Pudgy" Smith; and his siblings, Donald Murphy, Evelyn Murphy Fararri and Marie Murphy Boulier.
He is survived by: his son Samuel "Sam" Murphy (Cindy Owens) of Fort Fairfield; his grandchildren, Billy Clark of Stockholm, Robert "Bobby" Smith of Presque Isle, Jeremiah Smith of Presque Isle and Nicole Picorri (John) of Ballston Lake, NY; his stepsons, George Smith Jr. (Vicki) of Westfield and Robert "Bob" Smith of Presque Isle; his stepdaughter-in-law Sonia Smith (O'Neal) of Fort Fairfield; and his brothers-in-law, Philip "Bill" Boulier of Manorville, NY and Norman Fararri of Farmington. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
