It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rodney Farmer of Farmington, Maine, born in Carthage, Missouri, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Farmer and Kathleen Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Eastman Farmer; his brother Steve Farmer (Jill); his niece Elizabeth Farmer; his nephew Andrew Farmer (Kaitlin); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Max, Ronan, Blaire and Kathleen; his stepdaughters, Pam Bessey (Dan) and Margaret Butler; and his grandchildren, Sam Bessey, Will Bessey, Maisie Silverman, Myles Silverman, Gus Silverman and Bea Silverman.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Franklin County Animal Shelter at 550 Industry Road, Farmington, ME 04938. Contributions to this organization would be a fitting tribute to Rodney's love for animals.
