He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Doody and Audrey Doody (Arnold); his children, Michelle Sarafian (Lawrence) of Wakefield, Susan Doody of Seattle and Brian Doody of Portland; his siblings, Susan Ferzoco, Robert Doody and Lawrence Doody; and his grandchildren, Ella, Benjamin Sarafian of Wakefield and Finnley Doody of Seattle.
