She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph E. Hasty and Bessie I. Maines Hasty; her daughter Regina Oliver; her brother James Hasty; her husbands, Vint Lakin and Alan Sabins; and her daughter Bessie Lakin.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sonny Hasty of Jay and Patricia (Vernon Schanck) of Farmington; and her sister-in-law Cindy Hasty of Wilton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a few cousins.
