She was predeceased by: her son Ray Starbird. She is survived by: her former spouse Captain William Nale, II; her family, Melodee, William, Bart and Susan; her husband Harrison Starbird; and her children, Melodee Vandenbosch, William Nale III, Bart Nale and Susan Mildrum. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
