Lyle Karkos Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Karkos of Farmington, Maine, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton L. Karkos and Bertha Karkos (Farrington); his son Paul; his parents-in-law, Harland and Jeannette Adams; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Adams (Susan) and Eric Cunliffe.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Adams of Farmington; his sons, Richard (Donna) of Topsham, Bruce (Sherie) of Farmington and Jon (Teresa) of Temple; his grandchildren, Sandra Powers (Ron) of New Sharon, Kimberly Judkins (Garrett) of Chesterville, Jonathan Karkos (Melissa) of Rome, Paul Karkos (Danielle) of New Vineyard, Richard Karkos (Nikki) of Farmington, Kelsey Karkos (Kyle) of Steamboat Springs, CO, Kayla Karkos of Temple, Nicholas Karkos and Caihlan Snyder of Scarborough; his stepgrandchildren, Amy Lazaro (Ryan) of Concord, NH and Alecia Wolfe (Arron) of Oakland; his daughter-in-law Joanne Karkos of East Dixfield; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Cunliffe of Skowhegan and Shirleen Dolder (Bob) of Exeter, NH. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Public graveside memorial services will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton, in the late spring or early summer after Covid-19 subsides and will be announced.
