He was predeceased by: his parents, Gideon L. Bachelder and Mabel E. Bachelder (Phillips); and his brothers, Austin, Alan and Lubert.
He is survived by: his significant other Candy Wilcox of Avon; his children, Jeffrey (Sara Bachelder) of Alfred, Laurie Adams (Price) of Dixfield and Michael Bachelder (Nicole Labbe) of Turner; his siblings, Sylvia Hibbard of Turner, Marie Lawrence (Frank) of Kenduskeg, Patricia Nile (John) of Leeds, Velma Lowit (Jason) of Lewiston, Charles Bachelder of Leeds and John Bachelder (Susan) of Leeds; and his friend Nancy Bachelder of Monmouth. He is also survived by six Grandchildren, seven Great Grandchildren.
