With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Austin of Farmington, Maine, born in Gardiner, Maine, who passed away on October 18, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet Austin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond E. Hammond and Helen Hammond (Thompson); her husband Dwain G. Austin; and her brothers, Paul Hammond (Emily), Reginald "Reggie" (Phronie), Clifton "Skip" Hammond and Clyde "Buster" Hammond.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Austin (Kim) of North Belgrade and Melissa Spencer (Douglas "DJ") of Wilton; her grandchildren, Nichole Austin, Alexander Austin, Sienna Phillips and Austin Spencer; and her siblings-in-law, Verna Hammond of Belgrade, Susan Hammond of Belgrade, Janette Austin of Oakland and Dale Austin (Maxine) of Sidney. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
