It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Ireland Sr. of Farmington, Maine, born in Glens Falls, New York, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Irish and Marjorie Irish (McGarr); his daughter Mary Ireland; his wife Florence Frost-Ireland; his children, Martina Ireland of Kansas, Jimmy Ireland of Portland, Michael Ireland of Saco, John Ireland of Lewiston and Matt Ireland of New Hampshire; his stepson Patrick Wallace of Farmington; his siblings, Leslie Jarret of Sebago, Judy Pasquale of Portland, Katie Guzzman of South Portland and Seamus Walch (Bill Luce) of Windham; and his granddaughters, Madison and Megan. He was also cherished by six grandchildren.
