With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Steward Sr. of Farmington, Maine, born in Rangeley, Maine, who passed away on July 10, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Steward (Dick) and Ida Steward; and his siblings, Wendell, Charlie, Patsy Rowe and Nat Carlton.
He is survived by: his wife Pearl S. Smith; his siblings, Dottie Savage, Rosie Browne, Joline Adams and Carmen Steward; his children, Ernest Jr., Warren and Patricia Leahy; and his grandchildren, Billie-Jo Knight, Ernest Steward III, Joshua Steward, Amanda Steward, Jordan Steward, Andrea Steward, Daniel Leahy and Patrick Leahy. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
